Community art events around Chicago

You quit drawingwhen you were twelve.

Portrait parties, ballerina figure drawing, seasonal one-offs. No instruction, no skill required, nobody grading you.

In progress

Two itineraries, both still being written.

These two itineraries are currently being built from community feedback. Come to one of our events around Chicago to tell us when they run and where, and to join the list to hear about the launch first.

Itinerary in progress

Paint Michigan

Spring 2027 · 3 nights

A long weekend on the Lake Michigan shore. Oils on an empty beach, a hike out to a stretch of dune nobody else walks to, and sun prints made from what you pick up on the way. Three hours from Chicago, no flight, no passport.

Paint Mexico City

Same idea, louder city. Figure painting in Chapultepec, a color hunt through Coyoacán, sketchbooks out on a trajinera, and lucha libre at Arena México.

Community art events

We run these all around Chicago.

Portrait parties, ballerina figure drawing, seasonal one-offs. No skill required and nobody teaching. These are also where the trips get built, so the people in the room are the ones shaping where we go and what we do when we get there.
